Shockwave Therapy
We’re excited to offer Shock Wave Therapy as a new treatment option at our office. This advanced, non-invasive therapy helps relieve pain and speed up healing for a variety of chronic muscle and joint conditions.

What is Shockwave Therapy?
Shock Wave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate healing in damaged tissues. Commonly used for chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions, such as plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and shoulder pain, shock wave therapy promotes blood flow, reduces inflammation, and accelerates the body’s natural healing processes. We use this advanced therapy to target areas that have not responded to traditional treatments, helping patients experience faster relief and improved mobility without the need for surgery or medication.

What to Expect During Treatment:
Shock Wave Therapy sessions are quick, typically lasting 5 to 15 minutes depending on the area being treated. Most patients describe the sensation as a series of pulsing taps or mild discomfort that is well tolerated. There’s no downtime after treatment, so you can return to your normal activities right away. Many patients begin to notice improvement after just a few sessions, though a full treatment plan usually includes 3 to 6 visits for best results.
